나에게 꽃은~

우주의 문을 열고 Opening the door of the universe,

웃고 계시는 smiling

하나님. God.

보고만 있어도 Just seeing it,

편안하고 I feel comfortable 

행복하다. and happy.

간절함이 극에 이르면 If the sincere desire reaches climax

어찌 how could it be

꽃뿐이랴! only a flower!

*시작(詩作)노트

사람은 하나님과 함께하고 싶어 한다. 사람의 이런 소원을 들어주기 위해 하나님은 꽃이 되신 게 아닐까? 꽃 어디에도 울고, 아파하고, 원망하는 모습이 없는 이유다. 심지어 비바람에 찢어지고, 눈 속에 얼어 있어도, 벌레에 갉아 먹혀도 환하게 웃는 모습이다. 

힘들고 지칠 땐, 그래서 나는 가끔 꽃 앞에 선다.

내가 불완전하고 한 없이 연약한 인간임을 알면 알수록, 무언가에 대한 간절함이 사무치면 한 포기 풀도, 굴러다니는 돌멩이도 그리 보여 기도한다.

*A poetry note

A human wants to be with God. May God change a flower to grant this wish of man? This is why there is no sign of tears, pain or resentment anywhere in the flower. A flower smiles brightly even when both torn by the wind-rain, and frozen in the snow, and eaten by worms.

Being troubled and exhausted, so, I sometimes stand in front of a flower.

Getting know more and more that I'm an imperfect and infirm person, when my longing for something is at highest, I use to pray in front of a stone rolling down and a grass.
