다시, 낯선 일상

오슬로. 봄학기

꿈같은 한국 여행을 뒤로 하고 거짓처럼 익숙해져 버린 낯선 이 곳에서 또 다시 아침을 맞이한다. 
며칠 한국에 다녀온 사이 해가 조금 일찍 뜬다 싶더니, 북국 하늘은 전에 없는 새로운 색으로 신비롭게 아침기운을 퍼뜨리고 있었다. 나는 곧 붉게 물든 저 하늘이 어둠을 조금씩 치열히 밀어내고 있음을 알아차렸다.

I am back again to this strange but familiar place and face the Norwegian mornig. The northern sky is spreading morning aura with a mysterious color that was never seen before. I soon realized that the small brightness is pushing out the darkness little by little.

Oslo 16:30
첫 수업을 마치고 귀갓길 모습. '4시나' 되었는데도 놀랍게도 태양의 기운은 굳건히 버티며 어둠에게 쉽게 자리를 내어주질 않는다. 붉게 탄 하늘은 태양의 반란처럼 보이기도 했다. 북유럽의 긴 긴 밤, 소복이 쌓인 눈 빛으로 곱게 밝히는 그런 아늑함이 뜻밖의 그리움이 되고, 대낮처럼 환한 새벽과 밤이 지겨운, 그런 날을 나는 즐겁게 기다릴 것이다.

I was on my way home from the campus. Surprisingly, it was over 4 pm but the solar aura was still there and did not easily leave the dark. The red sky looked like a solar revolt. The long darkness of the North, the cozyness that illuminated with the light of the snow clad, will become an unexpected nostalgia. And I am delightly waiting for the day which is so boredly bright even at dawn and night.
