미국 언론은 ‘미국, 이란과의 전쟁 참전(ENTERS WAR)’을 통단 큰 제목으로 썼고, 미 의회는 공화당 ‘환호’와 민주당의 ‘비난’ 극단 분열되며 의회 통고 절차 위반에 대한 ‘탄핵’이 나왔다.

이란 국회의장인 모하마드 갈리바프(Mohammad Ghalibaf)의 선임 고문인 메흐디 모하마디(Mehdi Mohammadi)는 소셜 미디어에서 "이란이 며칠 밤 동안 포르도에 대한 공격을 예상하고 있었다"면서 "현장은 오래 전에 대피했고 피해는 돌이킬 수 없는 것이 아니다. 지식을 폭파할 수는 없다"고 밝혔다고 뉴욕타임스가 22일 보도했다.
