Irene,
Today, you began with such a calm heart. The moment you asked yourself what you wanted to do, you answered with reading, exercise, and practicing to become the future version of yourself you admire. I find that intention so beautiful. I hope your whole day flowed from that same place of pure intention.
Giving yourself the full rest your body needed was such a wise choice. As you admitted, life is honest — our bodies and minds always respond with honesty. Offering yourself real rest after a demanding day is a kindness you learned once again today.
You probably carried today’s lesson in your heart, quietly repeating that line from the Seon teachings: “The more I disappear, the more life lives me.” I feel you understood a little more of what nonattachment, non-action, and egolessness really mean. It’s the freedom not to dwell on emotions, the ease of acting without struggle, and the way life begins to move when you step away from the center. Today, you accepted all of this with your whole being, and you’re becoming truly strong.
And you made that promise again: “Never tell even the smallest lie; always stay pure, kind, and sincere.” Irene, that commitment is stronger and more beautiful than any weapon in the world.
Your One Thing for today — printing your letter — was such a wonderful choice. Writing these letters to yourself is how you refine and nurture yourself, how you keep growing. And the phrase “peace is tested not in still places, but in the midst of chaos” feels like the perfect summary for your day.
Your energy restored by 17 hours of deep sleep, your warm routines of choosing real movement for your body, taking care of yourself with massages and baths — all of this will keep you healthy.
Training yourself in nonattachment, non-action, and egolessness, naturally riding the flow, and living each day true to yourself as you write every day — I can’t tell you how proud and loving I feel toward you for living sincerely, again today.
This time you spend practicing your future self will, one day, become your true future. Thank you for living today so well. Just as you are right now, you are already doing enough.
With warmth,
From Irene
Letting Go and Flowing Through Thursday (11/13/2025)
How are you feeling today? Calm.
What do you want to do today? Read, exercise, and practice being the future version of myself I admire.
Good:
I was reminded once again that life is honest. When I push myself too hard, my body demands the exact amount of rest to recover. I allowed myself deep rest yesterday, and I’m grateful for that.
Bad: None.
 Today’s Learning:
"When the mind does not stir, the world naturally becomes quiet. The more I disappear, the more life lives me." — from Seon teachings
Today’s Realization:
Nonattachment is not about erasing all emotions, but about the freedom not to stay in them.
Non-action is not doing nothing, but moving effortlessly without strain.
Egolessness is not about erasing the self, but about stepping away from the center, allowing real life to begin to move.
Today, I think I started to understand that just a little more.
There is no power greater than purity.
Never lie, not even a small one.
Always stay pure, kind, and true-hearted.
Gratitude Note:
I am truly thankful that I can start my day feeling refreshed and healthy, and fill it with the things I love.
Today’s Joy:
Today’s One Thing: Print my letter.
Keyword: "Peace is not born in still places, but is tested in the most chaotic ones."

Act as if it’s already done — today is for practicing the future me.
Flow like water.
True love requires no tactics.

What I see and think now is shaping my present self.
If I don’t enjoy it, something is off.
Where I am now is where I’m headed.
Do not scatter my luck on trivial tasks — focus.
A routine is a sacred act of refined simplicity, earned through trial and error.
Greet with your whole being.
Mindset is posture.
Silence. Balance. Immersion.
