잎이 지기 전에

나눌 이야기들

8월 중순. 무성한 초록의 잎새들을 볼 날이 얼마나 남아 있을까.

한여름.

당연하게 곁에 있던 나무와 나뭇잎들,

아이들에게 어떤 존재였는지

아이들의 생각을 들어보면 재미있을 듯하다.

그늘이 되어 주었고,

새들의 집터가 되어 주었고

소나기 가려주는 우산이 되기도 했고...

잎이 지기 전에,  아이들과 잎의 역할에 대해 들어보고 고마움을 다시 한번 표시해 보면 어떨까.

일단 그림이 이쁘다.

시처럼 라임과 리듬이 있고

단어 수는 많지 않아도, 낯선 단어가 눈에 띌 수 있다. 그렇다고 겁먹지 않기.

나뭇잎의 색깔도 곧 알록달록 변하겠지. 그 과정을 말해보자.

 

아래 내용을 다 설명하기보다, 반복을 통해 흐름을 이해를 한 뒤, 필요한 단어를 이용하여 내 말이 되도록 해보자.

1. Summer Green:

Leaves are green in the summer because of something called chlorophyll. It's like a green paint that helps them eat sunlight!

2. Fall is Coming:

When it gets colder, the leaves know that winter is coming, so they start to get ready.

3. Green Goes Away:

The green paint starts to go away because the leaves don't need it as much in the cold.

4. New Colors:

Underneath the green, there are beautiful colors like red, orange, and yellow. They were hiding all along!

5. Leaves Fall:

Finally, the leaves show their pretty new colors for a while and then fall off the tree, getting ready for winter.

조금 심플한 버전으로 반복해 보자.
