예수의 몸은 커다란 나무 십자가에 달려 있었습니다. 그는 더 이상 살아있지 않았습니다.
아리마대 사람 요셉이 예수의 시체를 가져가게 해달라고 빌라도에게 청했습니다.
요셉은 어느 밤에 예수를 찾아왔던 니고데모와 함께 예수가 달려있는 십자가로 갔습니다.
그들은 조심스럽게 예수의 시체를 내렸습니다.
그들은 예수의 시체를 가까이 있는 조용한 동산으로 옮겼습니다. 그 동산에는 새 무덤이 있었습니다.
요셉과 니고데모는 돌로 된 선반 위에 예수의 시체를 눕혔습니다.
그들은 예수의 시체를 깨끗한 천으로 정성스럽게 감쌌습니다.
니고데모가 가져온 향료를 천조각 사이에 발랐습니다.
요셉과 니고데모는 장례를 마치고 나서 크고 무거운 돌로 무덤 앞을 닫았습니다.
예수는 죽어 무덤에 매장되었습니다.
Jesus' body hung on the big wooden cross. There was no more life in him.
Joseph, of Arimathea asked Pilate for the body of Jesus.
Joseph was accompanied by Nicodemus, who earlier had visited Jesus at night. They went to the cross where Jesus' body hung.
They carefully lowered Jesus' body to the ground.
They carried Jesus' body to a quiet garden close by. In the garden there was a new tomb.
Joseph and Nicodemus placed Jesus' body on the rock shelf.
They lovingly wrapped Jesus' body in strips of clean cloth.
Nicodemus brought sweet-smelling spices to put between the strips of cloth.
When they finished, Joseph and Nicodemus pushed a very large and heavy stone in front of the tomb.
Jesus was dead and was buried.
