십자가

군인들이 예수를 십자가에 못 박고, 그의 양쪽에 다른 두 사람도 함께 못 박았습니다.
빌라도가 죄패를 십자가에 붙였습니다. 거기에 '나사렛 예수, 유대인의 왕'이라고 쓰여 있었습니다.
예수는 우리 죄의 대가로 십자가에서 죽어갔습니다.
하나님이 우리의 죄를 대신하게 하려고 예수를 보냈습니다.
하나님이 우리를 사랑하셔서 그의 외아들을 우리 자리에서 대신 죽게 하신 것입니다.
예수의 어머니 마리아가 십자가 옆을 지키고 있었습니다. 요한도 함께 있었습니다.
예수가 요한에게 어머니를 돌봐줄 것을 부탁했습니다. 그때부터 요한이 마리아를 돌봐주었습니다.
십자가에 오래 달려있던 예수가 마실 것을 찾았습니다.
군인들이 젖은 해면을 막대에 매달아 예수의 입에 올려 마시게 했습니다.
마실 것을 받은 예수는 "다 이루었다." 하고 말하며 머리를 떨구고 숨을 거두었습니다. (요한복음 19:30)
The soldiers crucified Jesus, and with him two others - one on each side and Jesus in the middle.
Pilate had a sign fastened to the cross. It read: Jesus of Nazareth, the king of the Jews.
Jesus was going to die on the cross to take the punishment for our sins.
God sent Jesus to be punished instead of us.
God loves us so much that he let his only son die in our place.
Jesus' mother Mary, stood by the cross watching. John was by the cross too.
Jesus asked John to take care of his mother. John took care of Mary from that day forward.
Jesus hung on the cross a long time. He asked for a drink.
The soldiers put a wet sponge on a stick. They lifted the sponge to Jesus' mouth so he could drink.
When he had received the drink, Jesus said, "It is finished." With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. (John 19:30)
