EP227. 휴가를 휴가답게
Today, I didn’t do much — at least, not in the usual sense. My body was aching after yesterday’s workout, so instead of pushing myself to move, I chose to stay home and rest. At first, I felt a bit guilty because I’ve been so committed to exercising every day.
I felt unmotivated to work out, so I ended up lying on the sofa watching YouTube. I usually hate feeling unproductive, but today, I chose to let it be. I could have done a light workout at home like I normally do, but even that felt like too much — and honestly, I just wasn’t willing.
I've always felt like I needed to do somthing during my day off, but this time, I decided to treat my vacation like a real vacation- no pressure, no guilt, just rest.
But then I realized: rest is not a step back — it’s part of the journey forward.
Listening to my body isn’t a sign of weakness. It’s a sign that I’m learning to respect myself, not just as someone chasing fitness goals, but as someone who deserves care and balance. Even though I didn’t break a sweat today, I still showed up for myself by honoring what I needed.
Some days are for action.
Other days are for recovery.
Both are important.
