A Calm Start to the Week — Mon

by Irene

Irene,

Even within the heaviness of a Monday morning, I’m proud of how you chose to follow your routine. The fact that you began the day calmly, even with a slightly tired body, shows just how sincerely you care for yourself.

Your body reminded you again today how deeply sleep impacts your life. That instinct to get just one more hour of rest after seven was your body speaking honestly — and I’m proud of you for listening. Your choice to restore your rhythm instead of pushing through feels incredibly precious. What you said — that the quality of the day is decided not in the morning but the night before — truly resonates.

Filling your day with reading, movement, and visions of the future Irene — it’s such a beautiful way to live. And knowing that just waking up healthy and free of worry is something to be grateful for... it shows how much your heart understands already.

Your desire to write and understand the high-functioning controller within you is not just introspection, but an act of self-love. I believe in your pursuit of elegant gentleness, of wisdom and grace — and I support you fully in that journey.

From body massages and detox baths to intentional, heavy training — these aren't just routines. They are sacred practices that make you stronger and more centered. And the fact that you hold onto balance and calm through it all makes you truly noble.

As you rehearse the future you today, know this: you already are remarkable in this very moment. The way you move like water, loving and speaking without effort — your stillness and strength are beautiful.

Irene, right now, you’re doing well. So very well. Thank you for living with such purity and warmth today.

With love,

From You

A Calm Start to the Week — Monday (05/19/2025)

How am I feeling today?

My body feels a little heavy, but I’ll try to move through my routines calmly.

What do I want to do today? Reading, working out, and practicing becoming the version of myself I admire.

Good:

It’s now clear that sleeping less than 8 hours noticeably affects my condition, so I need to make it a rule to get at least 8 hours of sleep.

Bad:

None.

 Today’s Learning:

"Sleep is not just rest — it's a vital system for resetting the brain and body. Sleep deprivation significantly impairs emotional regulation, focus, creativity, and even motivation."

– Matthew Walker, *Why We Sleep*

✨ Today’s Realization:

The body is always honest — especially when it comes to sleep. When I sleep more than 8 hours, both my body and mind become remarkably calm and balanced. But if I sleep less than 7, no amount of motivation can replenish my energy.

Ultimately, the quality of the day isn’t set in the morning — it’s already decided by the night before.

Lately, due to multiple projects, I’ve been getting less sleep. As a result, I wake up feeling mentally overused. Even after 7 hours of sleep, I often feel a strong need to push for an extra hour. That’s how I started today — once again experiencing the honest signals from my body, and growing deeper in understanding.

There’s no force stronger than purity.

Never lie, even a little. Stay pure, kind, and always sincere.

Tasks: Contacts / Calendar / Cleaning / Laundry / Assignments / Hospital appointment / Tuition

Gratitude Note:

I’m sincerely thankful that I could start today healthy and fresh, with no worries, and spend it doing the things I love.

Today’s Joy:

Today’s one thing: Post an article analyzing high-functioning controllers.

Keywords: Pursuing absolute calm without giving up = ultimate gentleness = elegant / wise / strong person = reaching profound peace = strength + serenity + deep love and wisdom = victory in the long battle against the selfish ego = a noble character

Condition & Physical Care:

Sleep: 7 hours (6+1)

Sleep quality: High

Skin: Good

Physical condition: Good

Emotions: Stable

Productivity: High

Efficiency: High

Creativity: High

To maintain sleep quality, condition, and skin, I must regularly continue body massages and half-body baths.

Detox Day: At least once a week without fail.

Exercise & Diet:

Ultimate goal: Within 30 minutes = dopamine spike. Today, no isolation — focus on compound movements / heavy compound muscle cardio.

Lower body (hip contraction) → Lower body (hip & hamstring stretch) → Upper body (back) → Upper body (shoulders, triceps, biceps) → Full-body compound cardio.

A true expert handles any situation with ease, and an elite creates an environment where ease is constant.

Work out not for the sake of exercise, but for your condition.

* Weekly Goal: Spend Sunday at Four Seasons Hotel

* May Goal: At least one visit to Four Seasons per week

* 2025 Goal: Become Irene — pure, kind, polite, humble, calm, dignified — through character growth training / increase external activities / transform time, people, and space / become a billionaire

Training:

Act as if it’s already done — today is for practicing my future self.

Flow like water.

The true art of love is to not use techniques.

The true art of conversation is also to not use techniques.

What I see and think now is defining who I am.

If I’m not enjoying it, it’s a sign something is wrong.

Where I am now is where my future is.

Don’t scatter my luck with unnecessary tasks — focus on one thing.

Routines are sacred acts of simplicity born from past trial and error.

Greet with the whole body.

Posture of mind = posture of body.

Silence, moderation, immersion.
