두 아들을 둔 아버지에 대해 예수님이 들려준 이야기입니다.
아버지는 아들들을 무척 사랑했습니다.
그는 많은 땅과 가축을 가진 농장주였습니다.
어느 날 작은 아들이 아버지에게 말했습니다. "제게 땅과 가축과 돈을 주세요. 지금 당장요!"
아버지는 아들이 원하는 대로 해주었습니다. 그는 아들에게 땅과 가축과 돈을 주었습니다.
그러자 작은 아들은 집을 떠났습니다.
아버지는 매우 슬펐습니다. 그는 아들이 보고 싶었습니다. 늘 아들 생각을 했습니다.
아들은 먼 곳으로 갔습니다. 그는 아버지 생각을 하지 않았습니다.
아들은 돈을 모두 썼습니다. 땅과 가축도 모두 잃고 말았습니다. 그는 계속 굶주렸습니다.
그러다 그가 가까스로 얻은 일은 돼지를 치는 것이었습니다.
그는 너무 배가 고파 돼지의 먹이가 탐이 날 지경에 이르렀습니다.
그는 아버지 생각이 났습니다. 고향 생각도 났습니다.
"집에 가야겠다," 그는 말했습니다. "아버지는 나를 더 이상 사랑하시지 않겠지. 하지만 농장에서 일군으로는 일하게 해 주실 거야."
작은 아들은 일어나 아버지 집으로 갔습니다.
아버지가 달려와 그를 껴안고 입을 맞추었습니다.
아들이 말했습니다. "아버지, 저는 아버지와 하나님 앞에 죄를 지었습니다. 그러니 더 이상 아들 자격이 없습니다."
그러나 아버지는 여전히 아들을 사랑했습니다.
아버지는 하인들로 하여금 아들에게 입힐 옷과 먹일 음식을 가져오도록 했습니다. 그리고 이렇게 말했습니다. "잔치를 열어야겠다. 잃어버렸던 내 아들이 이제 집에 돌아왔으니."
Jesus told about a father with two sons.
The father loved his sons very much.
The father was a farmer with many fields and lots of animals.
One day the younger son said to his father, "I want the fields and animals and money. Give them to me now!"
The father did as the younger son asked. He gave his son fields and animals and money.
Then the younger son left home.
The father was very sad. He wanted to see his son. The father thought about his son all the time.
The younger son went far away. He did not think about his father.
He spent all his money. He lost all his fields and animals. He got hungrier and hungrier.
A man gave him a job. The younger son had to feed pigs.
He was so hungry he wanted to eat the pigs' food.
He remembered his father. He remembered his home.
"I will go home," he said. "I am sure my father does not love me anymore. But maybe he will let me be a worker on the farm."
He arose and came to his father.
The father ran down the road as fast as he could. He hugged and kissed his son.
The son said, "Father, I have sinned against you and God. I am not good enough to be your son anymore."
But the father still loved his son.
He told the servants to bring clothes and food for his son. He told them, "We will have a party. My son was lost and now he is home."
