청바지

구두보다는 캐주얼한 단화, 그보다는 운동화를 선호한다.
무엇보다 편한 게 좋다.
정장에 약하다.
출퇴근할 때 캐주얼하게 입어도 된다고 했을 때, 쾌재를 불렀다.
주로 청바지를 입는다.
청바지가 얇고 두꺼운 건 그닥 중요하지 않다.
청바지를 하나 사면, 사시사철을 입는다.
요즘은 기모가 든 겨울용 청바지가 있지만, 그게 없던 시절엔 겨울 냉기에 다리가 벌게져도 개의치 않았다.
한 여름 무더위에도 그냥 더운가 보다 하고 살았다.
물론 지금은 겨울에 기모 든 걸 찾기도 하고, 여름에는 기능성 쿨 소재 바지를 입기도 한다.
그래도 옷장을 열 때면 늘 청바지가 일 순위다.
스키니 진이 유행하던 시절에도 스트레이트 진만 고집했다.
아무리 스판이라고 해도 스키니는 내 몸에 맞지 않아, 입을 수가 없었다.
시도를 안 한 건 아니었다.
하지만 허벅지 위로 억지로 올렸더라도 훅을 채우고선 숨을 쉴 수 없었다.
스키니 진을 입고는 피팅 룸 밖으로 나오지 못했다.
유행은 돌고 돈다더니, 요즘은 90년대 청바지 스타일로 돌아가는 듯하다.
그 시절 청바지를 고이 모셔두었더라면, 지금 딱 어울릴 터.
스키니는 사라지고, 밑위는 길어지고, 와이드에, 길이는 길어져 다시 바닥 청소를 시작했다.
A라인 데님 롱 스커트도 심심찮게 보인다.
유행에 둔감하게 살지만, 유행과 그에 따른 변화를 지켜보는 것은 늘 재미있다.
I prefer casual shoes over dress shoes, and sneakers even more than dress shoes.

When I was told I could wear casual clothes to work, I was delighted.

I don’t really care if jeans are thin or thick.
Once I buy a pair of jeans, I wear them all year round.
These days, there are winter jeans with fleece lining, but back then, I didn't care if my legs got red in the winter cold.
Even in the scorching heat of midsummer, I thought it was just hot.
Of course, now I look for fleece lining in the winter, and in the summer, I wear pants made of functional cool materials.
But whenever I open my closet, jeans always come first.
Even when skinny jeans were popular, I only wore straight jeans.
No matter how spandex they were, skinny jeans didn’t fit my body, so I couldn’t wear them.
It’s not that I didn’t try.
But even if I forced it up to my thighs, once I zipped it up and hooked it up, I couldn't breathe.
I couldn't leave the fitting room wearing skinny jeans.
They say trends come and go, and these days, it seems like they're going back to the 90s jeans style.
If I had kept the jeans from back then, they would look great now.
Skinny jeans are gone, the length of the rise became longer, the width of the pants became wider, and the total length became longer, so I'm starting to clean the floor again like in the old days.
A-line denim long skirts are also seen often.
I live insensitive to trends, but it's always fun to watch trends and the changes that come with them.
靴よりは カジュアル な短靴、それよりは運動靴を好む。
楽なのが一番いい。
スーツ を好まない。
通勤時に カジュアル に着てもいいと言った時、快哉を叫んだ。
私は主に ジーンズ を履く。
ジーンズ が薄くて厚いのはあまり気にしない。
ジーンズ を一つ買うと、一年中履く。
最近は起毛が入った冬用ジーンズ があるが、それがなかった時代には冬の冷気で足が赤くなっても気にしなかった。
真夏の炎天下にもただ暑いのかと思って暮らした。
もちろん今は冬に起毛すべてを探したり、夏には機能性クール素材の ズボン を履いたりもする。
それでも クローゼット を開ける時はいつも ジーンズ が一番だ。
スキニージーンズ が流行していた時代にも ストレートジーンズ だけにこだわった。
素材が スパン だとしても スキニージーンズ は私の体に合わなくて、着ることができなかった。
試みをしなかったわけではなかった。
しかし、太ももの上に無理やり上げたとしても、ファスナー を閉めて フック までかけたら、息をすることができなかった。
スキニージーンズ をはいては試着室の外に出ることができなかった。
流行は巡るというが、最近は90年代の ジーンズスタイル に戻るようだ。
あの頃ジーンズ を大事にしまっておいたなら、今ちょうど似合うはずだ。
スキニー は消え、股上の長さは長くなり、ズボン の幅は広くなり、着丈は長くなり、昔のように再び床の掃除を始めた。
A ラインデニムロングスカート もよく見える。
流行に鈍感に生きるが、流行とそれに伴う変化を見守るのはいつも面白い。
