레위기 4장 - 5장
The Path Back to God
하나님께서는 우리가 알든 모르든, 의도적이든 실수로든, 당신께서 금하신 것을 어기는 순간 그것이 곧 죄라고 단호히 말씀하십니다.
아담과 하와가 죄를 짓고 가장 먼저 한 일은 하나님을 피하는 것이었습니다. 죄의 가장 두려운 점은 이것입니다. 죄는 우리 스스로 하나님을 피하게 합니다. 생명이신 하나님께서 멀어지게 합니다. 그러니 죄의 삯은 사망일 수 밖에 없는 것입니다.
하나님께서 죄 앞에서 단호하실 수밖에 없는 이유가 여기에 있는 것 같습니다. 수많은 사랑하는 자녀들을 죄로 인해 잃으셨기에, 다시는 그 누구도 잃지 않겠다고 말씀하시는 것처럼 들립니다.
그러나 하나님의 관심이 죄의 목록을 늘어놓고 우리를 정죄하는 데 있다고는 생각하지 않습니다. 하나님은 오히려, 죄에서 벗어날 길을 함께 열어 두셨습니다. 하나님의 법은 무겁고 엄중하지만 그 안에는 속죄와 구속의 길이 함께 놓여 있습니다. 하나님이 죄를 드러내시는 이유는 심판이 아니라, 단절된 관계를 다시 잇기 위함임을 믿습니다. 죄가 단절이라면 법은 회복입니다. 하나님은 하나님의 법을 통해 우리가 다시 하나님께로 향하기를 원하십니다. 우리가 다시 당신의 백성으로 살아가기를 원하십니다.
주님, 제 안에 깊이 뿌리내린 죄를 봅니다. 두려운 것은 죄를 보면서도 정작 그 죄에서 돌이키려는 마음조차 쉽게 일어나지 않는다는 사실입니다 . 저는 죄에 묶여 있는 존재입니다. 주님, 이미 회개의 길을 열어 두셨으니, 제 강팍한 마음을 부드럽게 만지시고, 돌이킬 수 있도록 이끌어 주세요. 아멘.
God has made it clear that whether we know it or not, whether it's intentional or accidental, the moment we go against what He has forbidden, it is sin. He is firm about this.
The first thing Adam and Eve did after they sinned was to hide from God. This is what makes sin so frightening. It drives us to run away from God. It pushes us away from the very One who gives life. That’s why the Bible says, "the wages of sin is death." Sin separates us from the source of life itself.
I think this is why God is so firm when it comes to sin. He has lost so many beloved children to sin, and it’s as if He’s saying, "I won’t lose anyone else." His firmness comes from a place of love, a love that refuses to let His children be taken away from Him again.
But I don’t believe God’s focus is just on listing out our sins to condemn us. Instead, God has provided a way for us to escape sin. His law may feel heavy and strict at times, but within it, He has also made room for forgiveness and redemption. I believe God reveals our sin not to judge us, but to restore the broken relationship between us and Him. If sin creates separation, then His law is the bridge back to Him. Through His law, God invites us to return, to live once again as His people, close to His heart.
Lord, I see the sin that’s deeply rooted in me. What scares me most is how I can see my sin yet still struggle to turn away from it. I am someone bound by sin. But Lord, You have already opened the way to repentance. Please soften my stubborn heart, and guide me back to You. Amen.
