폭우에 지쳐 바싹 말라가는 너,

또다시 피어날 계절을 기다리네

10월의 높은 창공 아래,

찬란히 빛날 단 한순간,

시간의 흐름을 놓치지 않으려

사그라드는 잎새로 사랑을 속삭이네

끝없이 함께할 수 없는 사랑이기에,

주어진 그 순간을 불태우듯

모든 사랑을 쏟아내는 너

폭우 속에서 견뎌낸 상처조차

언젠가 그리움이 되겠지

넘쳐흘렀음에 알지 못했던 후회,

뒤늦게 마주한 넓은 등의 짠내음

whispering love through trembling leaves.

burning brightly, fiercely, wholly,

even wounds borne in the storm

will someday become a tender longing.

Regret spills from what overflowed,

a broad back turned too late for embrace.
