I was upset that the media conveniently scapegoated Korean merchants as the source of black rage Despite the fact that those merchants were barely above destitution.

During read this book, I strongly feel the compassion, discourage and obstacle as a Korean.

My elder brother lives in U.S as a first generation got American citizenship and also my American nephew. When I visits my brother’s house, I often meet the young white mob or only one guy bully to Asians.

“Go back your land China!”

They ignorantly shout at us and sometimes gesture bad word with finger or frown the eyes.

I was so surprise to see that white supremacy to other race in the bright day. And also, just only one guy to a Asian group to us. My brother already US citizen and my nephews ls born in American. That makes me a shock and horror white persons arrogant.

It was a good book to me so touching and sympathy to my heart. The reason why her background is not from Asian Korean but she deals human being common attitude.
