니고데모의 방문

니고데모는 유대인들의 지도자였습니다.
어느 날 밤 예수를 찾아온 니고데모가 말했어요, "나는 선생님이 하나님이 보내신 분이라는 걸 알아요. 하나님이 함께하지 않는다면 불가능한 기적을 선생님이 이루고 계시니까요."
예수가 말했습니다, "진실은, 다시 태어나지 않으면 하나님 가족의 일원이 될 수 없다는 것이다."
"하지만 저는 이미 늙었습니다! 제가 어떻게 다시 태어날 수 있습니까?" 니고데모가 물었어요.
예수가 대답했습니다, "하나님을 믿는 사람들에게 하나님의 영이 새 생명을 주신다. 하나님의 영이 사람의 마음을 새롭게 하신다."
예수가 말했어요, "내가 하늘에서 내려온 것은 나를 믿는 사람들이 하나님 나라 가족으로 영원히 살게 하기 위함이다."
니고데모와 예수는 밤이 깊을 때까지 이야기하고 또 이야기했습니다.
Nicodemus was a leader of the Jewish people.
He came to Jesus at night and said, "I know you are a teacher who has been sent to us from God. No one could do the miracles you are doing if God were not with him."
Jesus said, "I tell you the truth, Nicodemus, unless a man is born again, he cannot become a part of God's family."
"But, I am an old man! How can I be born a second time?" Nicodemus asked.
Jesus answered, "God's Spirit gives new life to those who believe in God. God's Spirit makes a person new on the inside."
Jesus said, "I have come down from heaven so that everyone who believes in me can live forever as a part of God's family."
Nicodemus and Jesus talked and talked until it was very late.
