관리의 믿음

예수와 제자들이 가나에 왔습니다.
예수가 가나에 머무는 동안, 한 고위 관료가 예수가 거기 있다는 소식을 들었어요.
그에게는 매우 사랑하는 아들이 있었는데, 심하게 앓고 있었습니다.
그 아버지는 예수를 만나러 먼 길을 갔습니다.
그는 예수께 자기 집으로 가 아들을 고쳐달라고 부탁했습니다.
예수는 그에게 아들이 살아날 것이니 집으로 돌아가라고 말했어요.
관리는 예수의 말을 그대로 믿었습니다.
그가 집에 거의 다 왔을 때, 종들이 그를 만나러 나왔습니다.
"주인님, 아드님이 나아졌어요. 아드님이 살아날 것 같습니다." 종들이 말했어요.
"내 아들이 낫기 시작한 때가 언제인가?" 아버지가 물었습니다.
종이 대답했어요, "어제 한 시입니다."
관리는 아들이 살아날 것이라고 예수님이 말씀하신 때를 기억했어요. 정확히 어제 한 시였습니다.
관리는 집 안으로 뛰어들어가 아들을 오래오래 껴안았습니다.
그 집안의 모든 사람들이 관리의 말을 듣고 예수를 믿었습니다.
Jesus and his disciples walked into the city of Cana.
While Jesus was in Cana, an official heard Jesus was there.
This man had a son he loved very much. But now the son was very sick.
The father had to travel to see Jesus.
He asked Jesus to come to his home and make his son well.
Jesus told the man to go home. The man's son would live.
The man believed exactly what Jesus had said.
When the man was almost home, his servants came to meet him.
"Sir," they said, "Your son is well again. He is going to live."
"When did my son get well?" the father asked them.
His servant answered, "At one o'clock yesterday."
The official remembered when the Lord Jesus had said, "Your son will live." It was exactly at one o'clock yesterday.
The man ran inside the home and hugged his son for a long, long time.
Everyone in his house listened to the official and believed in Jesus.
