기도

예수가 하늘을 우러러보며 기도했습니다. "아버지, 이제 십자가로 향할 시간입니다. 아버지의 영광을 드러내도록 도와주소서."
예수는 사람들이 하나님을 알고 사랑하기를 바랐습니다.
예수가 기도했습니다. "제자들을 주셔서 감사합니다. 이제 저는 떠납니다. 제자들을 지켜 주소서."
예수는 하나님이 전능하심을 알았습니다.
예수는 제자들이 자신에 대해 이야기하는 것을 싫어하는 사람들이 있을 것이란 걸 알았습니다.
예수가 기도했습니다. "나의 제자들이 용감하고 강인하며 온유하도록 그들을 도와주소서."
그러고 나서 예수는 그를 믿는 모든 사람들을 위해 기도했습니다.
"나는 그들 안에 있고 아버지는 내 안에 계십니다. 그들이 완전히 하나가 되게 하셔서 아버지께서 나를 보내신 것과, 나를 사랑하신 것처럼 아버지께서 그들도 사랑하신 것을 세상이 알게 하소서."
그를 믿는 사람들이 영원히 그와 함께 살기를, 예수는 바랐습니다.
Jesus looked up to heaven and prayed, "Father, it is time for me to go to the cross. Please help me show people how wonderful you are."
Jesus wants people to know and love God the Father.
Jesus prayed, "Thank you for the disciples. Now I'm leaving. Please protect them."
Jesus knew God is stronger than anyone or anything.
Jesus knew there would be some people who would not want the disciples to talk about Jesus.
Jesus prayed, "Please help my disciples be brave, strong and kind."
Then Jesus prayed for all of his people.
"I in them and you in me, so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me."
Jesus wants his people to be with him forever.
