감사와 사랑
로마서 2

오래전 하나님은 느부갓네살로 하여금 바빌론의 왕이 되게 했습니다.
느부갓네살은 큰 궁전에 살았으며 돈도 많았습니다. 원하는 것은 뭐든지 가질 수 있었습니다.
느부갓네살의 왕국은 점점 커졌습니다.
그러나 느부갓네살 왕은 하나님을 사랑하지 않았습니다.
그는 "내 왕국을 보라! 이 모든 게 나의 위대함을 보여주고 있지 않은가!" 하고 말했습니다.
하나님을 사랑하는 것보다 더 중요한 건 없음을, 하나님은 느부갓네살이 알기 원했습니다.
하나님이 느부갓네살에게 말씀하셨습니다. "너는 이제 왕이 아니다. 너는 들짐승들과 함께 살며 소처럼 풀을 먹게 될 것이다."
하나님의 말씀은 그 즉시 이루어졌습니다.
느부갓네살은 궁전을 떠나야 했습니다.
그는 오랫동안 숲에서 동물처럼 살았습니다.
그렇게 일곱 해가 지나자, 하나님은 느부갓네살의 정신을 회복시켜 주었습니다.
느부갓네살은 하나님이 복을 주는 분임을 깨달았습니다.
하나님은 느부갓네살이 다시 왕이 되게 했습니다.
느부갓네살은 기쁜 마음으로 하나님을 사랑하게 되었습니다.
Many years ago God allowed Nebuchadnezzar to become king of Babylon.
Nebuchadnezzar lived in a big palace. He had lots of money. Nebuchadnezzar had everything he could want.
King Nebuchadnezzar's kingdom got bigger and bigger.
But Nebuchadnezzar did not love God.
He said, "Look at my country! All of this shows how great I am!"
God wanted Nebuchadnezzar know nothing is more important than loving God.
God told Nebuchadnezzar, "You will not be king anymore. You will live with the wild animals. You will eat grass like an ox."
Right away, what God said happened.
Nebuchadnezzar had to leave the palace.
He lived in the forest like an animal for many days.
Seven years passed. God let Nebuchadnezzar think like a man again.
Nebuchadnezzar knew God gave him every good thing.
God made Nebuchadnezzar king again.
Now Nebuchadnezzar was happy to love God.
