 학생 서약

내 폰의 사진을 정리하다가, 우리 아이들이 배정받았던 학교에서 처음에 요구했던 form에 담겨 있던 

재미있는 'pupil's commitment'를 찍어 놓은 걸 발견했다.

"PUPIL'S COMMITMENT

I will work hard and try my best.

I will tell someone if I am having difficulties.

I will always try to be friendly, polite, helpful and thoughtful towards others.

I will look after my school.

I will try to enjoy school and help other pupils to do the same.

I will try to my best with my homework.

PUPIL'S AGREEMENT

I have read the above and confirm my commitment to the home/school/pupil agreement

'look after'는 'take care of'와 동의어로, 돌보아 준다는 의미로 생각하고 있었던 내가,

'I will look after my school'을 파란 커서로 표시해 놓은 사진...

대문자로 된 부분은 대문자대로 진지해 보이고,

하나하나의 내용이 재미있으면서도 의미심장했던

학생 서약문이었다.
