Influenza vaccine

다시 또 독감의 계절이 돌아왔네요. 올해도 백신 종류와 예측 바이러스에 대해서 알아보도록 하겠습니다. 

거듭 말씀드리지만, 캐나다 비씨 (BC, Canada)주 기준입니다.

6개월 이상이면 독감예방 접종이 가능합니다.

캐나다 비씨주에서 접종 가능한 백신 종류

FLUAD® Trivalent (inactivated).

FLUZONE® QUADRIVALENT (inactivated).

FLUZONE® HIGH-DOSE QUADRIVALENT (inactivated).

FLULAVAL® TETRA Quadrivalent (inactivated) 

FLUMIST® QUADRIVALENT (live attenuated).

65세 이상 접종 권장 백신 종류

FLUZONE® HIGH-DOSE QUADRIVALENT (inactivated).

FLUAD® Trivalent adjuvanted (inactivated)

연구 결과에 따르면, 이 두 가지 백신이  이 연령대에는 다른 백신보다 더 효과적이라고 합니다.

6개월부터 64세 이하 권장 백신 종류

1. Children 6-23 months of age will be given:  

FLUZONE® QUADRIVALENT, or

FLULAVAL® TETRA Quadrivalent

2. Children and teens 2-17 years of age will be given:  

FLUZONE® QUADRIVALENT,

FLUMIST® QUADRIVALENT (given as a nasal spray), or

FLULAVAL® TETRA Quadrivalent.

 FLUMIST® QUADRIVALENT vaccine: 생백신 (live attenuated vaccine)으로 스프레이 (nasal spray) 타입입니다. 2세 이상 어린이가 주사바늘을 무서워하는 경우 특히 유용합니다.

3. People 18-64 years of age will be given:  

FLUZONE® QUADRIVALENT, or

FLULAVAL® TETRA Quadrivalent.

4. Adults 18-59 years of age with an intense fear of needles who are unwilling to get an influenza vaccine by injection.

FLUMIST® QUADRIVALENT vaccine, given as a nasal spray. FLUMIST® QUADRIVALENT is a live attenuated influenza vaccine. However, it's important to note that the inactivated influenza vaccine is recommended for adults because it provides better protection against influenza infection than the live vaccine in this age group 

스프레이 타입 백신은 59세를 넘는 성인의 경우 효과가 주사형 백신보다 효과가 낮다고 알려져 있습니다.

A/Darwin/9/2021 (H3N2)-like virus.

B/Austria/1359417/2021-like virus.

B/Phuket/3073/2013-like virus (in quadrivalent vaccines only) .

Influenza A 특히 H3N2에 65세 이상 환자들이 감염된 경우 특히 치사율, 입원율 등이 높아진다고 합니다.
